Horses!

I tried time and time again to get a decent shot of the horses for Cory. NONE of them came out good. The lighting was conspiring against me! This is (I think) one of the best "horse" shots I got.

Juggler at the Pre-Show

Here's one of the jugglers. We arrived to the pre-show about 15 minutes late, but it was so cool to be able to stand next to these guys when they were doing their thing! 

We went to the Circus!

We saw the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus in Madison Square Garden on April 15. It was great! I was quite surprised at the PRICES!

Bag of cotton candy: $12

Big Gulp-sized soda with animal head lid: $9
Twirly-light toy: $20
Snow cone: $8

Needless to say, we didn't buy any of the snacks! Thankfully, we had just eaten lunch immediately prior to the show! (Yum, Bubba Gump!) 

Is she... smiling?

Do my eyes deceive me, or does it look like she's smiling? She's smiling more and more, and it's not always associated with gas, so it seems that she's learning about smiling. :-)

This is Laurel with Camryn this past weekend. Camryn has grown so much, I can't believe it!

I went to Laurel's house this weekend for a bit of a spur-of-the-moment visit. I'll be posting a bunch of updates later.

It snowed a LOT! The Blizzard of '06 was interesting!

I think they got around a foot at Laurel's house, and a bit more than that on Long Island. It's usually the reverse: LI almost always gets less than upstate does! I drove back to LI on Sunday night, and it wasn't too terribly bad; it usually takes about 2 hours, maybe 2 hrs 15 mins, but this time, it took me 3 hours. Most of the trip was plowed; local roads, the Sprain Parkway and the eastern part of the Long Island Expressway were the worst of it.

Hmmm...

OK. I gave Laurel permissions to upload pictures, since I can't see them every week. But has she uploaded? Nnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooo. I'm just teasing her... she's finally feeling better after her c-section. Maybe that means we can all see pics of Cory and Cammie soon? I sure hope so.

I guess a road trip is in order.

Cory really was enjoying dancing with this doll that Jeanette gave her! It has straps to attach to your feet, and she was dancing with it. It was adorable!

Cory got a dinosaur for Christmas!

Aunt Sue gave Cory a dinosaur for Christmas. She really liked it! (And that's Mommy (Laurel) trying to get a picture of her with it.)
